“Why did you cut your hair Miss Brittany?”
The past two weeks have been most repetitive, where my answer to that question is concerned. I’d respond with “Needed a change” or “Just woke up and didn’t feel like I needed hair anymore”. Those responses are true and heartfelt. It may sound cliche, but my being is not and will not be defined by the length of my coils. Will I ever perm my hair again? I won’t say no or never again because I do not take kindly to monotony, but as for right now, I am fine with having a shaved head.
